Background:  Walter & I have been married for 24 years and both of us were born and raised in the Flint/Burton area. We have 3 grown children, all married and living out of state. To date they have blessed us with 4 grandbabies and we are counting on more. Walter works 3rd shift for Mohawk / Aladdin Carpet Mills as a warehouse supervisor and has worked as a truck driver and in retail supply. He loves to fish and play golf, but most of all he loves to spend time with our grandbabies! I work at Mott children’s Health Center in the pediatric Dental Department in billing and coordinating dental treatment in the hospital. I have been in the dental field for 25 years. Prior to that, I was in the United States Army on active duty and then active reserves. I like to cross stitch and read and spoil the grandbabies.  We both like to spend time at our cabin in Mio and travel. We love Jesus and enjoy getting to know HIM better and like spending time with others who love Him too. Fun Facts What's Playing on your ipod: Ipod! What's an Ipod?  We do like a wide variety of music to include Todd Agnew, Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, Day of Fire, Beethoven, Phillips Craig and Dean, Amy Grant, Israel Houghton & New Breed, Big Daddy Weave to name a few.   Favorite movie seen lately: We both like a good clean comedy. The last one's we watched were Enchanted and License to Wed. The last movie we went to the theater to see was End of the Spear. What does THAT tell you?    Favorite snack: Christine likes popcorn & Chocolate, but not togther. Walter likes chips and "vintage" candy like fireballs and lemon heads .   What would we do if we had the time: Travel. We want to visit all 50 states and experience the cheesy tourist stuff as well as the off the beaten path treasures. Favorite Thing about ignite FLINT: The people. We are so grateful for the love, support, prayers of Pastor and the elders and the church family. They have encouraged us and upheld us in times of serious health issues and just in our everyday life. We enjoy Biblical teaching and casual welcoming atmosphere. Also 5 fold apostolic ministry. Pastor Todd & the elders do their part by equipping us to do the work and then trust us to do it without microscope management.

He is my rock and there is no wickedness in Him.   Young at Heart is a social group geared towards age 40 and over with the purpose of getting to know the people we worship with. Once a month we have an activity that usually revolves around potluck (Yes, we are a FULL gospel fellowship :) games and fun activities in a relaxed and casual atmosphere that allows us to share our hearts with each other. We also go on field trips to faith based concerts, comedians, and plays. If you are feeling disconnected and want to make new friends we encourage you to join us.
